Indie-folk band 'Rum Shunk' and digital-analogue sound collective 'Crimson Yew'. Featuring live performance art from Polly Verity.

Rum Shunk is an indie-folk band from South Wales headed by singer-songwriter Matthew O'Sullivan. Beautifully crafted songs weaving influences from Fleet Foxes, Daniel Rossen, Villagers and Scott Matthews.

Crimson Yew is a sound collective from South Wales. We write, produce and perform songs that weave natural and cultural themes. An adventurous set combining influences from the likes John Grant, Rufus Wainwright, Duke Special and Little Dragon. Crimson Yew is formed by - Leonora (cello and vocal), Trev (drums), Bex (guitar and vocal), Lois (viola and vocal), and Jonathan (songwriter, piano, synth, and vocal).

Daughter of artists, Polly Verity grew up in an environment where there were plenty of art materials to hand and she was encouraged to experiment. Her step-grandfather, Eric de Mare had written a book “Your Book of Paperfolding” in the 1960s. Later on, when she was about 8, he gave her a copy. This inspired a journey in paper, the idea that you could transform a flat sheet into three dimensions was very exciting. She has been experimenting with paper ever since.
